We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Lead Wedding Planner to join our agile team. The ideal candidate possess a strong background in event planning. You are a professional with great people skills, leadership capabilities, and an above and beyond mindset looking for a fun and hands-on environment._ We’re hiring immediately to begin training for the next season and support the remainder of our current events. _

Responsibilities

- Provide guidance to couples during the final planning stage, identify their wedding coordination needs and discuss the details of their day
- Lead wedding site visits, rehearsals, details meeting, and intro chats
- Be the main point of contact for clients, team members and vendors ; Coordinate timing, location and itinerary
- Be on site on the day of the wedding and coordinate from start to the end of the event ; proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
- Create wedding day itineraries and provide administrative support in the completion and management of all wedding documents; venue layout, seating chart, meal plans, vendor tracking, photo shot lists, and email and phone admin support.




- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and foster positive relationships.

Job Details:

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in wedding planning preferred
- Scholastic background in event management preferred
- Available on weekends (especially during the busy season of May to October), with some weekday flexibility for client meetings
- With the exception of wedding days, site visit and rehearsals that are face to face, the role is remote and requires access to computer, scheduling software, and phone
- Experience in Google Workspace preferred (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheet, Google Calendar)
- Will require driver's license and access to a vehicle (non negotiable) as travel is required in Toronto, GTA, Hamilton and Niagara area. Not currently operating an events business or planning to start one within the next 3 years

Job Types: Seasonal, Freelance Pay: $23.00 per hour
