Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently handling multiple tasks
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Assist in receiving deliveries, storing supplies properly, and rotating stock as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant kitchens, with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of serving protocols and meal presentation standards
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
