Breton Crafthouse is seeking skilled and passionate Line Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team.
The Role: Line Cook
As a Line Cook, you are an essential part of delivering our culinary vision. You’ll work closely with our kitchen team to prepare and execute dishes that meet the high standards of quality and consistency that define Breton Crafthouse.
You’re a driven, detail-oriented cook with a robust understanding of kitchen operations. You have pride in your craft, consistency in execution, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-energy setting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily Prep & Service: Execute dishes with precision and efficiency during prep and service hours, with an emphasis on scratch preparation.
- Consistency & Accuracy: Follow recipes and procedures to ensure a consistent guest experience every time.
- Kitchen Teamwork: Collaborate closely with other cooks, supporting each other during busy shifts and contributing to a positive kitchen culture.
- Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workstation and uphold all health and safety regulations.
- Openness to Growth: Take feedback constructively and seek to improve technique, timing, and service skills.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred,
especially involving scratch cooking or pizza, but not required—we’re willing to train the right person.
- Strong Work Ethic: Dependable, on time, and committed to doing things the right way.
- Team Player: Works well under pressure and contributes to a positive team dynamic.
- Adaptability: Able to learn quickly, multitask, and take direction.
- Food Safety: Certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Collaborative: Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team environment and remains open to feedback and new ideas.
- Food Safety: Valid Food Safety certification is required. Keeping an up to date certification is a requirement of maintaining employment.
