Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and presentation of dishes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and exceptional food quality during busy hours




- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and maintaining hygiene standards
- Support the overall kitchen operations by restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and execute meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent understanding of serving protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Valuable communication skills to work effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
