Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation
- Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly and maintaining cleanliness in workstations
- Serve guests efficiently by helping with plating and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Maintain organization in the kitchen, including stocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is clean and functional
- Follow health regulations and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with food handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is highly valued
