Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, demonstrating teamwork and efficiency
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and practices in the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
