We are looking for an experienced Cook to work in the Penalty Box Bar and Grill located inside our amazing Westwood Arena located at 90 Woodbine Downs Blvd, Etobicoke ON.

The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen in a casual dining environment. This is a part-time position working a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

- Set up food station and prep ingredients prior to restaurant opening.
- Prepare high-quality food with consistency, as per the standardized menu and recipe.
- Perform opening and closing procedures of kitchen.
- Practice proper safe food handling and sanitation.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Ensure preparation and cooking stations are well stocked and maintained.
- Dishes, cleaning the overall kitchen, deep fryer, countertops, fridges and garbage.
- Partner with Front of House to create an excellent customer experience.

Education, Experience and Skills

- Previous culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Formal culinary training is an asset.
- Safe Food Handlers Certification




- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic, rapid-paced and changing environment

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
