Our client, a mid-size law firm in downtown Toronto, is looking to add a Commercial Litigation Lawyer to its growing team. The role will involve working on a broad range of litigation matters. Working on a wide variety of files, including but not limited to commercial litigation, receivership, real estate litigation including mortgage enforcement and title claims, franchise litigation, derivatives, and professional claims Providing advice to a range of clients, including private lenders and borrowers, property owners, builders, contractors, landlords, real estate brokers, etc.

Conducting legal research and analysis, file reviews, and preparing memoranda and other documents Attending commercial court matters D. and a member in positive standing of the Law Society of Ontario. ~3-6 years of Commercial Litigation experience (More experience welcomed!) ~ Experience in Commercial Court ~ Experience with insolvency/receivership is an asset ~ Excellent drafting and verbal and written communication skills ~ Exceptional time management and project management skills, along with an ability to juggle multiple projects/priorities Total compensation can can include bonus or incentives.
