The Building Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, management, and smooth operation of this residential property. This role focuses on ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness, and performing minor maintenance and repairs as needed. The position requires two individuals to reside together in the superintendent apartment and jointly fulfill the responsibilities associated with the building's superintendent duties.

The duties are divided between the two individuals based on the operational needs of the building, and both individuals are expected to participate in the required responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Handle minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry,



or coordinate with external contractors for major repairs.
- Ensure the building is kept clean, including common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairwells.
- Respond to tenant requests, inquiries, and complaints in a skilled and timely manner.
- Oversee garbage disposal and general upkeep of the property’s exterior.
- Monitor and maintain building systems such as heating, ventilation, and fire safety equipment.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as maintaining maintenance logs and reporting issues to the property manager.
- Ability to show vacant suites to prospective tenants
- Assist with the preparation of vacant suites

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
