We are seeking a motivated and reliable livreur (delivery driver) to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver products across designated routes
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring heavy items are handled with proper safety measures
- Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer requests
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and receipts, for all shipments
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws,
safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries to ensure safety for yourself and others
Skills
- Experience in moving heavy or bulky items safely and efficiently
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with customers
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics processes enhances your suitability for this role
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or equivalent certification required for operating larger vehicles
