Job Summary:

At our company, we are committed to protected, reliable, and timely transportation services. We are seeking a dedicated Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver who will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances while maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance with all transportation regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operate a tractor-trailer safely over long-distance routes
- Transport goods efficiently while meeting delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled
- Comply with all federal, provincial/state, and company regulations

Other Duties Assigned:

- Report mechanical issues promptly and coordinate repairs when necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when required

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL/Class 1 or equivalent)
- Ability to travel for extended periods and work flexible schedules
- Knowledge of transportation safety regulations
- Strong time-management and communication skills
