Conditions of employment

Possession of and ability to maintain Royal Canadian Mounted Police Enhanced Reliability StatusPossession of and ability to maintain a valid Canadian driver’s licence (Class 5 or equivalent)

Operational Requirements

Willing and able to work standby duty, shift work, and overtime on short noticeWilling and able to wear required Personal

Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety rulesWilling and able to travel using commercial or government transportation services when requiredWilling and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and coldWilling and able to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for prolonged periods,

climbing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 25 kg,

bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, crouching, and working in uncomfortable positions and spaces,

including high places such as ladders, scaffolds, and lift trucksWilling and able to attend and successfully complete required safety training, including but not limited to: Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Fall

Arrest, WHMIS, Confined Space Entry, Arc Flash,

First Aid, CPR, and AED trainingWilling and able to comply with all safety procedures and operational standards

You need (essential for the job)

Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following Possession of at least one valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate in either Refrigeration/HVAC, Millwright, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, IV Class or better Power Engineer
