Duties

- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, doors, windows, and other building components
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of facilities and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general maintenance or repair work within commercial or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building safety protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license preferred; certification in relevant trades (e.g., electrical or plumbing) is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Applicant must hold the Permanent Residence in Canada.
