Corporate Finance Practice GlassRatner’s Corporate Finance Practice focuses on advising clients on private debt financings, financial restructurings, business & securities valuations, and mergers, acquisitions, divestitures.

Whether it’s strategic planning, buying or selling a business, or financing, by properly assessing the business operations the team is always seeking ways to align interests, working to get to the root cause of a company’s challenges and opportunities, driving and implementing critical initiatives, and actively helping to unlock potential.

As a Manager,



you will continue to develop your transaction advisory experience through your involvement in the day-to-day execution of our M&A;, capital markets, valuation, and strategic advisory practice areas.

Responsibilities

- Lead and/or assist in, the execution of M&A; transactions and/or capital raising activities.
- Communicate directly with a variety of parties including client management, other advisors and transaction counterparties for engagements
- Lead the identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers, and/or capital providers.
- Review and/or prepare transaction documentation such as pitch books, teasers and confidential information memorandums
- Review and/or prepare valuation reports
- Review and/or prepare integrated financial models to support decision making for key transaction tollgates
- Review and/or prepare valuation financial models using the DCF and market capitalization methods as part of valuation mandates
- Assist with proactive business development and deal initiation activities through the development of a network of key contacts and referral sources
- Guide the development of, and/or provide, analytical and market research information (i.e. public company pricing multiples, industry research, etc.)
- At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job.
- Such other responsibilities that are required to complete an engagement and/or support the operations of the Corporate Finance team.

Requirements





- CPA and/or CFA and/or MBA and/or CBV designation preferred (completed or candidate)
- Post-secondary degree with 5-10 year(s) of relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting
- Proven track record of project execution in a similar fast-paced professional setting
- Strong technical finance proficiency, including knowledge of financial statements and general accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

- Ability to execute complex deliverables on a timely basis while managing competing priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Collaborative team player that can work independently with minimal supervision
