We are looking for a Manager of Operations & HR to help lead the operational and people side of our fast-growing haptics and Physical AI company. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly into leadership (and potentially the board), ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, people, and technology.

About the Role

As we grow, we need someone who can bring structure, culture, and momentum to our operations and people functions, someone who can hold the day-to-day together while also helping shape how we scale as a team.

Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day intra-team communication and coordination across departments
- Plan and manage shipping/receiving logistics
- Maintain and improve office operations and facilities
- Coordinate with our Director of Finance to stay current on relevant financial updates
- Plan and oversee logistics for conferences and trade shows, including on-site attendance
- Organize company events: leadership offsites, team-building activities, office happy hours, and celebrations
- Manage HR functions: onboarding, hiring coordination and outreach filtering, corporate policy updates, and compliance
- Build and maintain relationships with the team, working on behalf of the company to strengthen employee relations
- Track compensation trends in the market and identify personnel-related risks or gaps
- Update onboarding documentation, technology, and access/visibility permissions as needed




- Leverage AI tools to build dashboards and evaluate company operations, reporting insights to leadership and the board

Must Have

- 7+ years of experience (some flexibility for candidates with solid aptitude and adaptability)
- Background in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or HR
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High willingness and aptitude to learn and apply AI tools to streamline workflows and visualize company processes
- Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
- Prior experience with corporate operations, project/process oversight is a plus

Nice to Have

- Background in software, engineering, or operations
- Experience or strong interest in applying technology to manage company-wide systems: overseeing processes, projects, and ensuring adherence to workflows across teams
