The compensation for this role is between $71,000 - $88,500 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for a permanent full-time Manufacturing Engineer Mon-Fri: 7:00am – 4:00pm In this role, you will lead impactful capital and process improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance. This position offers a hands-on, dynamic workplace with opportunities to contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and innovation across multiple plant operations. Lead end-to-end engineering projects, including analysis, vendor selection, installation, commissioning, and production readiness Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and overall plant efficiency Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and external partners to execute projects and resolve technical challenges Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful and timely delivery Support plant layout design, workflow optimization, and ergonomic improvements Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality,



and cost performance across manufacturing operations Post-secondary degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience with project coordination or project management Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or similar CAD tools Understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between local sites as needed Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling tools Exposure to automation or capital equipment projects Familiarity with plastics manufacturing or similar processes Basic understanding of electrical systems Competitive compensation with annual pay progression and bonus program Paid vacation time KM reimbursement for local travel Temperature-controlled (air-conditioned) facility for improved working conditions Career growth opportunities within engineering and operations Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, odors, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools.
