Position Overview: Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Manufacturing Labourer will play a key role in the daily operations of our St. Albert facility. Initially, this role will be heavily focused on cleaning and organizing the shop to establish an efficient workspace.
As the shop organization is completed, the position will evolve to include materials handling, inventory management, and assisting our carpenters and welders with production tasks. This role offers excellent room for advancement, as the hired individual will be taught inventory management processes alongside various trades and production skills.

Responsibilities:
- Perform intensive cleaning and organization of the shop to establish and maintain a highly functional workspace.
- Assist carpenters and welders with daily production tasks to improve factory efficiencies.
- Manage materials and inventory, including cycle counting, shipping, and receiving.
- Move materials safely to appropriate areas using hand equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Prep parts and materials for production and assist with the final preparation of projects ready to be released.
- Keep common work areas and production zones tidy and organized at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete custom container projects.
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience on job sites or in a similar manufacturing/shop environment is considered an asset.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand equipment is a strong asset (training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to undergo training.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly, specifically inventory processes and trade skills.
- Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
