The Fraser Valley Regional District seeks up to two motivated individuals passionate about animal care. This position combines hands-on animal handling with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and communication with potential adopters. Ideal candidates will have experience with animal behavior and welfare and the ability to work independently and as a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent care for impounded dogs and other animals
• Assist with training and behavior modification plans




• Conduct meet-and-greet appointments for adoptions
• Maintain accurate records and clerical tasks
• Communicate effectively with the public and volunteers
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education plus courses in animal care
• Minimum 6 months of related experience
• Valuable computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office
• Physically fit for outdoor and manual tasks
• Valid Driver's Licence
