The EIT will support our Engineering team on various electrical projects including renewables energy systems, microgrids, electric vehicle charging deployments and feasibility studies.Job DutiesThis is a multi-faceted position:Design of renewable energy systems and microgrids that incorporate distributed energy resources such as solar, battery energy storage, combined heat & powerAssessment of electrical systems to determine feasibility of distributed energy resourcesField reviews at construction sitesEngaging directly with contractors and clientsCoordination with industry vendors as requiredUse of 3D Laser Scanner to capture existing site conditionsOther administrative duties as assignedCandidate Experience & Skill RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in solar design, renewables, power grids, building electrical or industrial electrical systems; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a preference for specialty in power systems; Registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) is an asset; Demonstrated flexibility to meet and adapt to changes in organizational priorities; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook); Working knowledge of office procedures and standard office equipment; Knowledge of business English, including grammar,
