We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer or Technologist with a strong background in diesel engine systems. This permanent position emphasizes analysis and teamwork, allowing you to develop expertise in component failure for Caterpillar products. Key Responsibilities:
• Determine root causes of engine component failures • Prepare detailed technical reports for clients • Document component conditions during disassembly • Analyze individual parts and their functions • Lead or partake in process improvement initiatives
Requirements: • Engineering degree in related field preferred • Experience with large diesel engines, especially Caterpillar • Solid skills in root cause analysis • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent communication skills for technical findings
