Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated prep cook / counter worker to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and protected environment. You will be responsible for handling cash transactions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation while serving customers and managing a small team.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. (Weighing, Wrapping and Pricing Product)
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide assistance to customers with inquiries or special requests to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.




- Supervise a small booth alone or a team of 3 in a larger setting.

Experience

- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred (Use of a gas oven stove top and a five rack convection oven)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.
- Described as a well spoken and social person.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food handling techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a supervisor or manager preferred.

Availability Mandatory: Saturday, Sunday

Possible in the Future: Weekdays

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
