Back of the Spoon is a growing Alberta food company specializing in handcrafted frozen comfort foods made in small batches using real ingredients. We're looking for an outgoing, motivated individual to represent our brand at farmers' markets, trade shows, and special events.

This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working independently, loves meeting people, and wants to be rewarded for their effort.

Responsibilities

- Represent Back of the Spoon at farmers' markets, trade shows, and community events
- Prepare and serve food samples while maintaining food safety and presentation standards
- Engage customers, share our story, and confidently recommend products
- Set up and tear down market booths
- Merchandise and restock products throughout the day
- Process sales and maintain accurate inventory counts

Experience

Required

- A positive,



outgoing personality and a passion for working with people
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver's licence and access to a truck or suitable vehicle (Market Partner position)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working weekends and occasional long trade show days

Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, food service, or customer service
- Experience working farmers' markets, trade shows, or community events
- Cash handling or POS experience
- Inventory or merchandising experience
