AMFIN Solutions is looking for a confident, motivated and persistent Appointment Setter to contact businesses and schedule qualified appointments for our Group Benefits Specialist.

This is a part-time, home-based position. The successful candidate will work remotely using a company-approved internet telephone and call-tracking system.

Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to business owners, managers and HR professionals.
- Introduce AMFIN Solutions’ employee group benefits services.
- Identify the person responsible for employee perks decisions.
- Determine whether the business may be interested in starting or reviewing its benefits plan.
- Schedule qualified appointments for our Group Benefits Specialist.
- Follow up professionally with prospective clients.
- Accurately record calls, conversations and appointments in the company system.
- Consistently meet weekly calling and appointment-setting targets.
- Work independently from home while maintaining regular communication with management.

What Is a Qualified Appointment?
- The meeting is with a business owner, HR manager or benefits decision-maker.
- The business meets AMFIN Solutions’ minimum qualification requirements.
- The prospect has a genuine interest in starting or reviewing a group benefits plan.
- A specific meeting date and time have been confirmed.
- Accurate contact information is entered into the company system.




- The appointment is not a duplicate or previously active opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate
- Has excellent verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Speaks clear and professional English.
- Is confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
- Is self-motivated, dependable and results-oriented.
- Handles rejection positively and remains persistent.
- Is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Has basic computer and record-keeping skills.
- Has a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection and quiet home workspace.
- Previous telemarketing, appointment-setting, insurance or B2B sales experience is an asset.
