Zagers is West Michigan’s premier pool and spa company, and we’re looking for a Sales Professional to join our retail team. We’re seeking someone who excels at building relationships, communicates clearly and confidently, and has a passion for learning and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate works well collaboratively with teammates, managers, and other departments, ensuring that every customer receives the best experience possible from first interaction to final sale. Experience with big‑ticket sales is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

- Greet and direct customers in a friendly, professional way
- Build customer relationships
- Actively engage in selling above ground pools, spas and other items promoted by Zagers
- Provide accurate information (product features, pricing, after‑sales services)
- Help retail team grow in‑store sales
- Complete water testing
- Conduct inventory counts and restock shelves
- Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks
- Answer phone calls, return messages and promptly nurture leads




- Follow store procedures
- Assist Store Manager and Sales Manager as needed
- Continuously learn new products and processes
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Associate or similar role
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Basic math skills
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast‑paced environments
- Problem‑solving competence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of product
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis
- Flexibility to work at various locations
- High‑school degree
