Marketing Manager III (Special Assignment Commercialization)

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, ON)

Office Requirement: Wednesdays and Fridays in office

Address: Toronto, ON M5K 1A2

Duration: September 2026 to September 2027 (12-month contract)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $69-$79/hr.

About the Opportunity

Our client in the banking industry is launching a transformational partnership with Fiserv's Clover payment platform, creating a pivotal chance to accelerate growth and strengthen the position in the Canadian payments industry.

They have an established commercialization team delivering branding, sales enablement, digital enhancements, and launch assets. What we need now is a catalyst. Someone who can identify breakthrough opportunities, inspire stakeholders, and drive measurable commercial impact.

This is a unique one-year special assignment designed for an innovative marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and execution.

Position Overview

As the Marketing Manager III (Special Assignment Commercialization) , you will be responsible for identifying and executing bold, high-impact initiatives that increase awareness, adoption, and sales momentum for the Clover merchant solutions.

This role goes beyond traditional marketing. We are seeking someone who can generate innovative ideas, build compelling business cases, gain stakeholder buy-in, and deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify unconventional but executable commercialization opportunities that accelerate growth
- Develop innovative campaigns, experiences, tools, and initiatives that create market differentiation
- Create programs that make it easier for sales teams to win business
- Translate creative concepts into data-driven business cases with measurable KPIs and ROI
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product,



and executive stakeholders to secure alignment and approvals
- Navigate governance and funding processes while maximizing commercial impact
- Track performance, measure results, and continuously optimize initiatives
- Conduct market research and generate new commercialization ideas
- Present recommendations and strategic concepts to senior stakeholders

What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Research market trends and commercialization opportunities
- Generate and refine innovative business ideas
- Build presentations and business cases
- Engage stakeholders across the organization
- Influence decision-making through data-driven storytelling
- Drive commercialization projects from concept to execution

Meeting Time: Approximately 70% initially, decreasing to less than 50% after onboarding and project establishment.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline

Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Marketing, Product Management, Commercialization, Growth Strategy, or Innovation
- Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial impact
- Experience influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional initiatives

- Retail payments industry experience
- Commercialization or growth strategy experience
