Responsibilities:
- Provide masonry support for the Lead Mason
- Ability to anticipate the next move in all masonry/construction phases
- Help transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from staging areas and workstations
- Load, unload and transport construction materials to and from job sites
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding
- Mixing mortar to proper consistency
- Remove rubble and debris at job sites focusing on cleanliness
- Ensure jobsite,
trailer and work vehicle is consistently cleaned of rubble and debris
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in masonry restorations, landscaping, or construction - physical labour and working outdoors
- A genuine interest in learning the trade with the goal of becoming a mason
- A high degree of physical fitness and strength; ability to lift and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be confident working at heights on scaffolding and ladders
- Must be confident is using power tools, masonry saw and grinders
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours
- Reliable and dedicated to schedules and timelines
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust on the fly
- Excellent communication skills and able to professionally interact with clients and co-workers
- Respectful of client and company property and equipment
- A safety focused mindset
- Valid G class drivers license with clean driving abstract

Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday starting at 7:00 AM. Occasional weekend work required with plenty of notice given.
