Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products.
Duties
- Operates various types of forklifts (Indoor/Outdoor)
- Drives shunt truck (backing trailers into loading dock)
- Loads/unloads tractors onto trailers
- Loads/unloads flatdecks, and vans with freight
- Works mostly outdoors
Other Duties, but not limited to:
- Maintain and clean working area
- Check computer systems for material locations and inventory status
- Other duties as decided by supervisor
Requirements
- Experience with Shunt Truck equipment required
- Knowledge of shipping processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced warehouse distribution environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
