- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on electric material handling trucks (Powered Industrial Trucks - PIT)

- Diagnose and repair failures in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, steering, braking and control systems

- Repair motors, hydraulic components, masts, lift chains, wheels, tires, electrical systems, sensors, operator controls, forks and safety devices

- Inspect, maintain and repair lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, chargers and related components

- Respond to equipment breakdowns and return equipment to service safely and efficiently

- Accurately document inspections, repairs, hours worked and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

- Comply with all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures

Requirements

- Experience maintaining electric material handling trucks (forklifts) or comparable industrial equipment

- Robust knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

- Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills





- Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage workload effectively

- Basic computer skills and ability to effectively use a CMMS

- Valid Quebec Class 5 driver's license
