Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated mechanic or mechanic hepler with the prospect to apprentice for Heavy Duty, Agricultural and/or Truck Trailer Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including agricultural machinery, truck trailers, and industrial vehicles. This position offers the opportunity to work in a well equipped facility with diverse machinery and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs using detailed schematics and technical manuals

- Conduct preventative maintenance

- Operate machinery during maintenance or repair procedures

- Maintain detailed service records, repair logs

- Maintain safe and tidy work spaces

Skills





- Mechanic experience with heavy-duty equipment, farm machinery, or industrial equipment; dealership experience is highly valued

- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including engines, hydraulics, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems

- Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software for troubleshooting complex issues

- Ability to operate heavy equipment, acricultural equipment, semi truck and trailers safely and effectively

- Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques for repairs or modifications

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
