Located in Rivière-des-Prairies, our workshop offers exceptional qualified service in general mechanics, including maintenance and repairs of gasoline, diesel, electric, and hybrid vehicles. With 13 experienced technicians, 4 technical and administrative advisors, and an operational area of nearly 8,000 sq. ft., we work with state-of-the-art equipment capable of handling a large number of vehicles and jobs. Having 15 service bays and an IT system that records the history of operations makes us a local reference.

The journeyman mechanic is a qualified professional responsible for performing repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on motorized vehicles or equipment. They work independently, supervise apprentices, and act as a technical reference within the workshop. This position requires recognized journeyman certification as well as solid practical experience in the field.

Main Responsibilities

- Perform complex diagnostics and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Repair, maintain, and adjust mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret plans, service manuals, and electronic diagnostic tools.
- Supervise, train, and mentor apprentice mechanics.
- Rigorously document work performed and keep maintenance records updated.
- Apply and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE).
- Collaborate with management team to identify parts, tools, and equipment needs.
- Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy,



and productivity in work execution.

Job Requirements

- Recognized journeyman certification by CPA Montreal.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver’s license.
