- Follow established build procedures
- Inspect and ensure all fabricated materials are correct to the approved drawings
- Review and report any build related issues to your direct supervisor
- Rig, lift, and move materials into the correct positions safely and efficiently
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills and taps
- Complete all in process QA documents to ensure that best quality equipment is provided to our customers
- Direct or take directions from build leads or supervisors
- Travel and install equipment in accordance with our install procedures and customer's health and safety policies
- Ensure that work area is clean and organized at all times
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read and understand blue prints
- Protected usage of hand and power tools
- Ability to report and record data during assembly process
- Understanding of basic fabrication procedures
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Working knowledge of rigging and crane operation
- Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts
- Experience with a cutting torch and welder
- Safely loading and unloading large fabrications
Education
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Industrial Mechanical Millwright License an asset
Experience
- Millwright
- Tool and Die
- Auto Mechanic
- 3-5 years in automation industry
Reliable transportation to and from work, general hand tools, safety boots, valid passport, and drivers license, travel is required. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
