TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner/Scheduler to work on our clients’ large-scale project. This position will be responsible for driving schedule performance, supporting project execution teams, and ensuring that planning processes provide timely and accurate information for decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a long term contract position that requires working on site in Northern BC following a two weeks on/two weeks off rotational schedule.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare and schedule performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for project leadership.
- Develop and maintain project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate schedule integration across multiple contractors, project teams, and functional disciplines.
- Provide planning expertise and guidance to project controls and delivery teams.
- Monitor project progress and collaborate with stakeholders to address schedule risks, constraints, and resource challenges.
- Establish schedule baselines, progress measurements, and change control processes to support accurate project forecasting.
- Facilitate short-term and look-ahead planning activities to improve execution efficiency and schedule reliability.
- Perform path reviews, schedule analysis,



and scenario planning to identify potential impacts to project delivery.
- Preform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling on large-scale capital projects within mining, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
- Experience in mining and processing plants projects is required.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and other scheduling or project controls software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project settings.
- Experience developing and managing integrated schedules across multiple contractors and project disciplines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in multi-disciplinary environments.
