Job Overview:COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.SUMMARYThe Materials Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of site materials and incoming/outgoing shipments and will be the main contact for any Materials related questions (freight information, tracking shipments, incoming inventory, material requisitions, equipment requisitions, shipping coordination, etc.).Location: CNRL Horizon (Maintenance)Shift: 7/7 compressed shiftTransportation: Flights provided from Edmonton/Calgary, ABAccommodation: Camp providedJOB DUTIESPerform budget development, progress measurement, cost forecasting and preparing monthly internal and client benchmark/milestone reports for mid to large scale projects.Supervise the offloading of materials from carrierInspect materials for damage, overages, shortages,
and compliance with purchase order specificationDocument and report the receiving inspection in accordance with the Quality Assurance System Program and HSE ProgramIdentify and tag non-conforming material and quarantine as necessaryOrganize, verify, and file all receiving and vendor documentationEnsure materials are stored and maintained in a suitable manner and environmentDocument the withdrawal of materials for use on-sitePrepare and load finished goods/materials for shipmentComplete appropriate documentation and update materials database prior to shipment of goods/materialsPerform periodic materials inspection to verify material counts, conditions, location, and statusQUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 3 years’ experience in shipping/receiving/stores capacityMinimum of 8 years’ experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or the Petro-chemical industrySKILLSSuperior knowledge of pipe, fittings and valvesFamiliar with “Bagging & Tagging” or “Kitting” processKnowledgeable and experienced with a formal QA programComputer skills#LI-AK1
