Role Overview:

The MOA Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Medical Office Assistant team while continuing to support front-line clinic functions. This role provides leadership, coaching, scheduling coordination, workflow management, quality assurance, and operational support to ensure exceptional patient experiences and efficient clinic performance. The Team Lead serves as a key leader helping bridge the gap between the MOA team, physicians, and clinic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, coach, and support the MOA team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Assist with training, scheduling, and day-to-day team coordination.
- Support employee engagement and accountability.
- Act as a resource for team members and help resolve operational challenges.

Patient Experience & Clinic Operations

- Ensure exceptional patient service and efficient front-office operations.
- Coordinate scheduling, referrals, workflow management, and daily clinic activities.
- Support smooth patient flow and timely communication with patients and healthcare partners.




- Identify and implement opportunities to improve clinic efficiency and service delivery.
- Filling in for front desk duties as needed

Quality, Compliance & Administration

- Promote compliance with clinic policies, privacy standards, and administrative procedures.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, documentation accuracy, and operational excellence.
- Monitor adherence to established processes and best practices.
- Assist with reporting, inventory management, and other administrative functions as required.

Qualifications · Diploma or Certificate in Medical Office Administration or related field preferred.

· 3-5 years of experience in a medical clinic or multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

· Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience strongly preferred.

· Strong knowledge of healthcare administration, patient scheduling, and clinic operations.

· Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, PACS, and clinic software.

· Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

· Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and patient-centered service.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
