Global Pulse Cardiology Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Office Receptionist to join our cardiac diagnostic team in Scarborough, Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare environment, interacting with patients, and supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy medical office. The position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and the needs of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Register patients and maintain accurate patient information
- Process physician referrals, requisitions, and medical documentation
- Coordinate with physicians, cardiac technologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Handle incoming and outgoing faxes, correspondence, and electronic communications
- Process payments and assist with administrative and billing-related tasks




- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the cardiac diagnostic clinic
- Provide excellent patient service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, diagnostic lab, or healthcare setting preferred
- Experience with Velox EMR strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- Skilled, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in cardiology or cardiac diagnostics is an asset
