Position Overview

We are seeking a Master’s-level Mental Health Counsellor to join our private practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families in a thoughtful and client-centered way.

Responsibilities

- Provide counselling services to individuals, couples, and families
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation
- Use evidence-informed, client-centered, and family-systems approaches
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, and other healthcare providers as needed
- Build and manage a client caseload




- Educate families about coping strategies, treatment options, and community resources

Qualifications/Experience

- Master’s degree in Counselling or Psychology
- Professional liability insurance
- Registered with the appropriate professional regulatory body
- Experience working with couples
- Experience working in a counselling setting and private practice
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills
- Must be able to work some evenings

Compensation & Support

- 60/40 fee split (clinician retains 60%)
- Administrative support as the practice develops (e.g., referrals, scheduling, billing)
- Versatile scheduling and autonomy over caseload
