Join the Outdoor Operations team at Whitewater Mountain Resort as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. This full-time role focuses on maintaining heavy and light-duty equipment to support mountain activities.

Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance of snowcats, excavators, and other essential vehicles. Your role is integral to ensuring safety and performance standards are met. In addition, you will train apprentices and collaborate with shop personnel to promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance on heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles • Schedule daily, weekly,



and annual fleet upkeep • Oversee large-scale maintenance activities • Train and supervise apprentices in vehicle maintenance • Maintain documentation for asset and human resources

Requirements: • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification required • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record • Comprehensive tools required for shop work • Experience with snowcats or similar equipment an asset
