Zeebest Plastics of Canada Inc. is currently seeking a full time Metal Fabricator to join our team in Morinville, AB. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for fabricating and assembling molds, and various other metal products.

Reporting directly to the Owner or his delegate, this position will be responsible for producing quality items as per verbal or detailed instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings and welding specifications.
- In collaboration with others complete manual and/or computer-assisted design as required.
- Set up,



laying out work for welding done by yourself.
- Gather and prepare materials necessary for the assigned work.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Set up and operate CNC Press Brake, CNC Plasma Table, Shears, Metal Rolls, Bandsaws, Drill Presses, and other general use fabrication equipment.
- Perform GMAW, GTAW welding processes.
- Fabricate and assemble molds, frames, fixtures, guards, machine components and other custom metalwork.
- Ensure welding equipment and welding areas are always operational.
- Ensure welding consumables are always kept at safe levels.
- Notify the owner or his delegate of any defective or faulty equipment or material.
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Assist coworkers with material handling, shipping, receiving and two-person lifts when required.
- Perform work safety in accordance with all Company safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Any other duties/tasks as required.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Welding various materials, primarily light gauge mild steel and stainless steel using GMAW, GTAW, processes. (Robotic welding is an asset).
- Programming and operating a CNC Plasma Table and CNC Brake.
- Programming and operation a Robotic welding cell with laser cutting is an asset.
- Experience with CAD, SolidWorks, Fusion and design and materials nesting is considered an asset.
