Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate MIRA (www.mymira.ca) Library & Outreach Coordinator to lead community engagement initiatives and manage library resources with enthusiasm and precision. In this vital role, you will coordinate outreach programs, oversee the MIRA library database, and foster meaningful connections with diverse community groups . You will ensure that the MIRA library is accessible, innovative, and impactful.

Duties

Stakeholder Outreach and Partnerships

- Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions, health-system stakeholders, community organizations, mental health agencies, advocacy organizations, and other partners.
- Conduct outreach to identify opportunities for collaboration, resource sharing, data integration, training, and MIRA adoption.
- Support discussions related to data sharing, data taxonomy, and integration with partners.
- Coordinate and participate in stakeholder meetings, consultations, demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions.
- Help partners understand MIRA’s purpose, capabilities, limitations, and responsible-use considerations.
- Support the integration of MIRA into relevant health, education, community, and mental health-service frameworks.

Resource Library Management
- Coordinate the review, validation, cataloguing, and maintenance of mental health resources included in the MIRA Resource Library.
- Apply established quality-control criteria to assess the accuracy, relevance, accessibility, currency, and appropriateness of proposed resources.
- Support the ongoing expansion of the library across mental health topics, communities, service types, and geographic regions.
- Identify and obtain resources relevant to Indigenous communities, French-speaking Canadians, children and youth, Veterans, Public Safety Personnel, and other underserved populations.
- Track changes, updates,



and potential issues affecting approved resources, including through technology-supported monitoring tools.
- Maintain accurate records, tagging structures, and geographic information to support effective search and geo-filtering
- Help coordinate and train volunteers involved in resource submission, cataloguing, and review.

National Expansion and Knowledge Mobilization
- Support the coordinated expansion of MIRA across Canadian provinces and territories.
- Help adapt resources and engagement approaches to reflect regional, linguistic, cultural, and community contexts.
- Coordinate knowledge-mobilization activities, including partner webinars, newsletters, presentations, and other outreach materials.
- Support communications activities, including promotions, advertising, social media content, and basic graphic development.
- Prepare briefing materials, meeting notes, reports, resource summaries, and other project documentation.
- Identify emerging issues and recommend practical improvements to resource quality, outreach, and implementation.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in health sciences, social sciences, business administration, public administration, communications, information management, or a related field.
- Experience in resource management, information curation, community engagement, partnership development, project coordination, or knowledge mobilization.
- Experience in the health, mental health, social-service, public-sector, academic, or nonprofit environment is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical,



and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working respectfully with diverse populations and communities.
- Understanding of cultural safety and the importance of culturally appropriate mental health information.
- Familiarity with mental health services, digital health, information systems, or artificial intelligence is an asset.
- Awareness of privacy, health-data protection, accessibility, and ethical considerations related to digital health and AI.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, and online collaboration tools.

Assets
- Experience working with mental health or community-service resources.
- Experience developing or managing partnerships across sectors.
- Experience with bilingual or French-language resources.
- Experience supporting Indigenous engagement or community-led program development.
- Experience with databases, tagging systems, geographic information, content-management systems, or quality-assurance processes.
- Experience delivering webinars, workshops, presentations, or training.
- Experience using social media, email marketing, or basic graphic-design tools.
- Personal or professional experience with mental health, disability, caregiving, peer support, or community advocacy.
