Responsibilities

- Safely lift, carry, and load heavy items during moving and transportation tasks, ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent injury.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment following safety protocols to move large or bulky items efficiently.
- Assist with the packing, unpacking, and organizing of goods in preparation for moves or storage.
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate tasks, confirm delivery details, and address any concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by tidying storage areas and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Support warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks,



ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Follow safety guidelines at all times, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage to prevent accidents.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in moving, warehouse work, or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining good physical condition.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Experience with commercial driving or operating other warehouse machinery is a plus.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in handling goods and documentation.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
