MUIR Hotel : Loading Bay Attendant

Reporting to the Property Manager, the role will assist with all deliveries made to the Queen’s Marque district. Flexibility in working a variety of days, evenings, holidays and weekend shifts will be considered an asset.

Shifts: Vary in their start and end time and can change due to the needs of our guests. A mixture of days, evenings, holidays and weekend shifts.

What you will be doing as a Pedicab Driver:

- Manage all shipping and receiving activities for the property;
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries to the loading dock;
- Inspect and verify incoming goods, ensuring items are received in good condition;
- Sign for and process deliveries accurately;
- Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse/loading area;
- Ensure proper storage and inventory handling of goods;
- Provide support to building maintenance and residential concierge teams as needed;
- Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.

The person we are looking for has:

- Previous experience in a distribution centre, shipping, or receiving environment preferred;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Physically able to perform repetitive upper-body movements and lift/move materials as required;
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods;
- Excellent communication abilities - with English as mandatory and a relevant second language an asset.
