This full time role emphasizes videography and multimedia content development to highlight KI traditions and services. Reporting to the Ayamowin Manager, you'll play a crucial role in promoting cultural awareness and understanding through compelling multimedia stories.
The position requires collaboration with various KIDO departments and may involve flexible hours to capture events as needed. Your creativity will contribute to revitalizing KI culture and educating families about health and wellness resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend planning meetings to brainstorm story ideas
- Produce diverse multimedia content for various platforms
- Conduct thorough research and interviews for stories
- Work with translators to ensure culturally relevant content
- Organize and maintain multimedia assets for easy retrieval Requirements:
- Experience in videography or multimedia production essential
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite for content creation
- Effective communication skills in English; Anishininiimowin preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
