Music Manager – Artist Management The Halos Agency is looking for an experienced and motivated Music Manager to join our team and manage the career development of an independent recording artist.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about music, understands the entertainment industry, and has the ability to build relationships and create opportunities for an artist.

Position Overview The Music Manager will work directly with the artist and agency to develop and execute a long-term career strategy. This role will involve finding and creating opportunities, managing industry relationships, coordinating performances, supporting releases, and helping grow the artist’s brand and audience.

Responsibilities

- Manage the artist’s day-to-day professional career and opportunities
- Develop and execute an artist growth and career strategy
- Identify and pursue performance opportunities, festivals, showcases, and events
- Contact promoters, venues, festivals, media outlets, and industry professionals
- Build and maintain relationships within the music and entertainment industry
- Assist with booking negotiations and contracts
- Coordinate with event organizers, promoters, photographers, videographers, and other professionals
- Help plan music releases, promotional campaigns, and marketing strategies
- Identify opportunities for collaborations, sponsorships, brand partnerships, and media exposure
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities for the artist
- Assist with scheduling, meetings, appearances, interviews, and performances
- Help grow the artist’s social media presence and overall public profile
- Represent the artist professionally when communicating with industry contacts
- Work closely with The Halos Agency to ensure opportunities align with the artist’s overall career goals

What We’re Looking For




- Previous experience in music management, artist management, entertainment, promotions, booking, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the music industry
- Existing industry contacts are considered a major asset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, organized, and reliable
- Robust networking and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment
- Passion for helping artists build sustainable careers

Experience

Preferred

- Previous experience managing or working with recording artists
- Experience securing shows, festivals, interviews, collaborations, or media opportunities
- Experience working with promoters, venues, labels, distributors, or entertainment companies
- Existing relationships within the Canadian music industry

Compensation Compensation will be discussed based on experience and the structure of the management agreement.

We are open to discussing commission-based, project-based, or other compensation structures depending on the candidate’s experience and involvement.
