Lead the Toddler Program as an Early Childhood Educator at Saulteau First Nations. Make a positive impact on children aged 0-6 through innovative, play-based learning experiences.
Your role as an Early Childhood Educator involves fostering development in a diverse and engaging setting. Under the guidance of the Childcare Centre Supervisor, you will implement tailored learning activities, supervise children, and ensure safety and support within the program. Close collaboration with colleagues and regular communication with families will enhance the effectiveness of child development tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan tailored activities for children’s cognitive growth
• Collaborate on projects with fellow educators
• Ensure safe supervision and support for children
• Maintain a clean and safe childcare environment
• Monitor developmental milestones with caregivers
Requirements:
• Valid Early Childhood Education Certification required
• Infant Toddler Educator Certification preferred
• Clear background checks for working with vulnerable populations
• Familiarity with the Saulteau culture is beneficial
• Assist with meal preparation and daily cleaning
