Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout your shift
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or dishwashing within a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
