Nightclub Busser / Support Staff

Part-Time | Friday & Saturday Nights

Tropical is looking for a fast, reliable, and hardworking Nightclub Busser / Support Staff team member to help keep our venue clean, stocked, safe, and running smoothly during busy nightlife service.

This is a high-energy position working closely with servers, bartenders, security, and management.

Responsibilities

- Clear and clean tables throughout the night
- Collect empty glasses, bottles, plates, and garbage
- Keep VIP tables and guest areas clean and presentable
- Assist servers and bartenders with glassware, ice, supplies, and restocking
- Help reset tables quickly for reservations and new guests
- Keep service stations stocked and organized
- Clean spills immediately and keep walkways safe
- Remove garbage and recycling throughout the night
- Regularly check and maintain guest washrooms
- Restock washroom supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Keep washroom counters, floors, sinks, and common areas clean
- Immediately report any washroom maintenance, safety, or guest issues to management or security
- Help keep the dance floor, bar areas, entrance, and surrounding guest areas clean
- Support the service team during peak hours




- Quickly respond to broken glass, spills, and other cleaning needs throughout the venue

What We're Looking For
- Fast and comfortable working in a very busy nightclub workplace
- Hardworking and proactive — able to notice what needs attention without always being told
- Strong sense of cleanliness and organization
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lift and carry boxes, ice buckets, garbage bags, and bus tubs
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the venue for long periods
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Available Friday and Saturday nights until late
- Previous restaurant, bar, nightclub, or hospitality experience is an asset
- Spanish/English bilingual is an asset

About Tropical Tropical is a Latin restaurant and nightlife destination in downtown Calgary. Our weekends include dinner, DJs, dancing, VIP tables, bottle service, birthdays, and large celebrations.

We're looking for someone who moves fast, stays aware of the entire venue, and understands that cleanliness, speed, organization, and guest safety are essential to a great nightclub experience.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
