In this LTO role, you will make a meaningful impact on secondary students at DDSB through dynamic lesson plans and a positive classroom culture. Your primary focus will be to assess and adapt lesson delivery to cater to diverse learning needs while collaborating with the community for enhanced educational outcomes. With a dedication to fostering a love for learning, you will empower every student to thrive in your classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and implement engaging curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess student progress while providing valuable feedback




• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support students
• Modify teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners
Requirements:
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in positive standing
• English subject qualifications; Special Education knowledge an asset
• Commitment to equity and inclusion principles
• Provide a current Criminal Background Check
• Demonstrated experience in secondary teaching preferred
