This role requires solid drafting skills and the ability to conduct mediations and trials effectively while maintaining communication with the claims department. Your experience and knowledge in diverse practice areas will be crucial in delivering top-tier legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle insurance defense files independently from start to finish
• Prepare and conduct motions, mediations, and trials
• Draft legal documents,
including pleadings and affidavits
• Present legal seminars to the claims department
• Communicate effectively with claims professionals
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)
• Member of the Law Society of Alberta
• Minimum of two years in insurance litigation
• Expertise in drafting and trials
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
