: Under the direction of a Manager and as part of the interdisciplinary team, the Community Mental Health Nurse provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a community mental health and addictions population The incumbent provides program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, supervision, preceptor students in formal clinical practicum, and provides professional and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources. The incumbent will provide nursing leadership and clinical expertise in the development and maintenance of community mental health and addiction treatment programs and ensure nursing practice standards are maintained.

Experience
- Must have min 2 yrs post grad recent recognized mental health & addiction exp
Education
- Graduate from school of general nursing with training in psychiatric nursing

- Current registration w/College of Reg Psych Nurses of SK (CRPNS) required

- Excellent knowledge and skills related to community psychiatric nursing practice
Other Education & Training
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Current registration w/College of Reg Psych Nurses of SK (CRPNS) required
