Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for PRP procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Assist with blood draws, phlebotomy, and preparation of platelet-rich plasma samples in accordance with medical protocols.
- Administer injections and treatments following established guidelines, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses during and after procedures, documenting all relevant information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and sterile setting by adhering to infection control standards and sterilization procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up treatments.
- Manage medical documentation using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
